2016 Michigan Good Food Summit
Good Food for All: The Road to 2020
October 28, 2016 · Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center, East Lansing, MI
Presented by the Michigan State University Center for Regional Food Systems
The next Michigan Health Policy Forum is scheduled on October 24, 2016 at the East Lansing Marriott Hotel at 1 PM.
The topic of the Forum will be an exploration of Michigan's response to the opioid epidemic that is afflicting our state and nation. The keynote speaker will be Lieutenant Gov. Brian Calley. Lt. Governor Calley's presentation will be followed by a panel discussion representing the many approaches that are necessary to address this public health issue.
Due to a high level of interest in this topic, the Forum is exploring the possibility of including an interactive site in Southeast Michigan to enable more participation in the Forum.
Please hold October 24, 2016 on your calendar. Registration will open during the week of August 29 and you will receive a final agenda and options for participation at that time.
On behalf of the Michigan Health Policy Forum Advisory Board, we look forward to seeing you on October 24 to examine the multi-professional responses necessary to confront the opioid epidemic that challenges Michigan.
