Michigan Oral Health Conference
-The Michigan Oral Health Conference is where you’ll find people who are interested in the same goal you are—to improve the oral health of all Michiganders. Join thought leaders, practitioners and educators June 11 and 12, at the Grand Valley State University Eberhard Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This year’s theme, “Creating Connections and Building Bridges...Together,” will examine the relationship between coalition building and policy change, the impact of the social determinants of health and promising practices related to access to care. Michigan Healthy Policy Forum
Michigan has made enormous strides to reduce the number of uninsured by enrolling 314,000 citizens through the Health Insurance Marketplace and over 605,000 citizens in the Healthy Michigan Plan. However, both of these programs are at risk in 2015. The Forum will examine the next steps in Michigan’s efforts to provide health coverage to the uninsured.
