Michigan Healthy Policy Forum
Michigan has made enormous strides to reduce the number of uninsured by enrolling 314,000 citizens through the Health Insurance Marketplace and over 605,000 citizens in the Healthy Michigan Plan. However, both of these programs are at risk in 2015. The Forum will examine the next steps in Michigan’s efforts to provide health coverage to the uninsured.
Day at the Capitol and County Health Rankings
On Wednesday, April 22, 2015, the 5th anniversary of the County Health Rankings will be held. This event will take place from 8:00am to 9:30am in the Roy Manty Room (1st floor) at the Capitol View building. Address is 201 Townsend Street, Lansing, MI. After the County Health Rankings event, we will then shift to our annual Day at the Capitol activities. Your representatives and senators have been notified that you may be coming to town and will schedule appointments to discuss local public health initiatives and issues.
