This session will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 2:00–3:00 PM.
This session will cover the concepts of cultural humility, cultural competency, and cultural flexing when working with newcomer families. Participants will gain practical, curiosity-driven strategies to prepare for and engage families during home visits. The training will be recorded and we plan to offer CEUs for social work and nursing. Participants will also have the chance to engage in breakout-room scenarios to practice applying culturally responsive approaches together
