2018 Statewide Tribal Opioid Summit

The objective of this first annual conference is to provide education, share information and continue open dialogue with federal, state, tribal, behavioral health and medical partners who are assisting Tribal communities in the fight against opioid and prescription drug addiction and the further victimization of Indian people. The intent is to improve responses to victims suffering from addiction and create a multidisciplinary response for victims, families and the Indian community as a whole. Each partner is dedicated to promoting healing in Indian Country among the 12 federally recognized Tribes in Michigan and the Great Lakes region.
