Public Health Nurse - Otsego County

A full time Public Health Nurse position is available in Otsego County to a registered nurse who has a passion for working with pregnant women and families with young children, as well as the community at large. This challenging and rewarding position works mainly in the WIC, MIHP and IMMs program providing assessment, education, and support. Additional programmatic work includes but is not limited to Communicable Disease and Newborn Home visits. Public Health Nurses conduct home visits, on-site and off-site clinics, and are involved with all ages of community members providing education and advocacy. Nursing experience in pediatrics, obstetrics or public health nursing is preferred, but not required. Applicants must hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan. A BSN degree is preferred. A valid driver's license and automobile insurance are also required.
