Webinar: Navigating Misinformation Campaigns for Public Health Practitioners

Meeting Dates:
Thursday, April 29, 2021
Meeting Time and Location:

11am-12pm

Note:

Public health workers and those coming into the field for the first time are facing unparalleled levels of animus from segments of their communities regarding evidence-based decisions made to protect the health and safety of the community. School closings, stay-in-place orders, mask wearing proclamations, and business curfews due to COVID-19 have set the communities collective alert nerve on high response.

Yet, there are personal and organizational tools which have been and are being developed to help break through the fog of this attack on public health. These include vaccine planning checklists, source-lists for the latest information about how to prepare for the vaccine itself, and how to protect yourself from the fatigue caused by so much misinformation.
