The 2nd annual Public Health Prepared summit will focus on national, state, and local perspectives to recruit and retain a strong infectious disease (ID) workforce. The 2.5 hour virtual summit will consist of presentations, cross-sectoral facilitated breakout discussions, and large group Q&As. Presentations will include:
- Keynote: national trends of, and recommendations for, the epidemiology and broader ID workforce
- Case Presentation: training a genomics workforce through partnerships
