Location Address:
Hyatt Regency Atlanta , GA

Note:

Every year, public health professionals gather at the NACCHO 360 Annual Conference to share opportunities, challenges, best practices, and success stories; engage with federal, state, and local partners; and gain insights from public health experts. The 2022 NACCHO 360 Annual Conference will help local health officials envision the future of local public health in their communities and provide them with the essential skills and strategies to achieve that vision effectively and efficiently. Attendees will learn from the experiences of colleagues and experts and adapt the knowledge into practice back at their organizations.

Rapid change and reduced resources bring a sense of urgency for improved management practices, cultivation of non-traditional partnerships and collaborations, comprehensive analysis of the delivery of services and programs, informatics, and technological tools that expedite planning, programming, and monitoring. With an increased need for local public health departments to address both new and traditional public health roles and functions while demonstrating accountability and transparency, local health officials’ jobs are more challenging than ever before.

Leaders and their staff must have the latest evidence and tools available to continue influencing real change in their communities.

This year’s theme, Looking to the Future: Reshaping the Public Health System will explore how the local public health workforce and its stakeholders can move forward in the midst of an ongoing crisis while implementing traditional and innovative approaches to restructure a system built to protect the health of communities nationwide.
