The Marquette County Health Department is seeking a qualified Administrative Health Officer to lead our agency in promoting and protecting the health of Marquette County residents.
As the chief administrator, this position provides overall leadership and direction for all Health Department programs and services. Responsibilities include:
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating public health program
- Overseeing administration, budgeting, contracts, and personnel
- Ensuring compliance with local and state public health laws and regulations
- Providing leadership during public health emergencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Public Health and three (3) years of full-time public health administrative experience;
OR a related graduate degree and five (5) years of full-time public health administrative experience;
OR a Bachelor’s Degree and eight (8) years of full-time public health experience, five (5) of which have been in the administration of a broad range of public health programs.
Annual Salary Range: $104,083.20 – $127,004.80, plus fringe benefit package
