Over 9 million Americans have undiagnosed Type 2 Diabetes or prediabetes.  In this course attendees will learn about important updates, and the use of tools and resources for patients with prediabetes and type 2 diabetes management.  The newest updates to the recommendations and guidelines around lab tests for chronic kidney disease, and how it impacts patients with diabetes and hypertension will be discussed.  This course will also cover the mental and emotional aspects of diabetes including diabetes distress, and how mental health affects diabetes control and long-term outcomes.  Hear about the latest work being done with Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) devices in patients with Type 2 Diabetes, and how to effectively use these devices and their data in your practice.
