Serves as Lead to Community Epidemiologist and Health Analyst staff members. Coordinates and conducts active epidemiologic surveillance and behavioral health-related research and outreach activities. Determines community health status in relation to public health services and determines areas of unmet needs. Plans and directs advanced analytical research, reviews vital records, statistics, and other related health data, and prepares technical reports, proposals, articles, and presentations to communicate epidemiologic studies on existing or anticipated health issues in the County. Designs, implements, and provides community-based research projects to health leaders and community organizations in order to improve the population’s health and quality of life for residents of the County.
