BHSJCHA is seeking a Medical Director, which is a required position at local health departments per the Michigan Public Health Code. BHSJCHA is soliciting applications for a Medical Director that is a physician licensed in the State of Michigan as an M.D. or D.O. and meets the qualifications defined in Administrative Rule R325.13002 and R325.13004:

  1. Board certified in preventive medicine or public health; OR
  2. Has an M.P.H. or M.S.P.H. degree and not less than two years of full-time public health practice; OR
  3. Has not less than three years of full-time public health practice and 24 graduate credits acceptable toward a public health degree.
