Immunization Representative

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Under the supervision of the Division Director, performs a variety of functions to promote immunization against vaccine preventable disease throughout the Upper Peninsula including training, evaluation, serving as a resource, and ensuring all possible means of getting vaccines to the community are pursued.  Performs the functions of a Registered Nurse in other programs as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.  In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, an Associate Degree with additional nursing experience.

Experience Required:  Two years of experience in public health systems, with at least one year of registered nursing experience.  In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree:  Four years of nursing experience in public health.

STARTING RATE OF PAY:  $49,192 – $61,485 per year
