The Michigan Recycling Coalition’s 44th Annual Conference provides a variety of opportunities for attendees to share and learn about innovations and best practices in recycling and material management. This year’s Conference is held in Kalamazoo from May 11th through the 13th, and features expert-led sessions addressing critical issues impacting professionals and leaders across environmental health, public safety, and materials management. Topics include: advancing food waste recovery practices, improving community education and outreach to reduce contamination, strengthening material management planning, and addressing safe handling and management of materials such as batteries and household hazardous waste.
